🙞 What is Grading? 🙜

Grading is the evaluation of the quality of the product to check for flaws and blemishes.

Grading is not a universal practice and every artist grades their pins differently.

Please keep in mind that enamel pins are handmade by humans, so small flaws and variations are bound to happen.

🙞 How I grade my pins 🙜

I inspect my pins at an arms length and grade them as either Standard Grade, B Grade, or C Grade.

Standard Grade:
These are products considered to be the best quality. Any flaws present will be very minimal and harder to notice. These flaw can include:

• Tiny specs of dust, dirt, or stray screenprint or enamel

• Fine scratches on the enamel or metal

• Slight over or underfill of the enamel

• Slight screenprint misalignment

• Blemishes on the back or sides of the metal

I do not offer "collector's grade" pin. Pins are handmade and mine are designed for casual use and display.

B Grade:
These products have more visible flaws that can be noticed at an arms length but do not interfere with functionality and overall art. They work great as an affordable option. These flaws can include:

• Major scratches, specs, and scuffs.

• Major over or underfill visible at front view

• Bigger areas of missing enamel

• Noticeable misalignment of screenprint

• Major chips in the plating

While some artists have B-grades with flaws that are barely noticeable, my b-grades may be a little more noticeable than them. Please keep that in mind.

C Grade:
These pins have significant flaws and are only offered at in-person events to give people the chance to evaluate them in person. These flaws include:

• Major miscolouring

• Major areas with missing enamel

• Large chips in the enamel or metal

• Colour spills over each other

Pins with broken post are not sold at all.

Processing time is typically 2-7 business days. This may differ during holidays and peak seasons.

🙞 Canada 🙜
Untracked orders are shipped with Canada Post while Tracked orders are shipped with Chit Chats. Sticker-only orders can only be shipped as lettermail (untracked) with Canada Post.

🙞 US 🙜
All orders are shipped with tracking except sticker-only orders. Sticker-only orders are shipped via envelope and will not have tracking.

🙞 International 🙜
